About
The High Guys Official Expansion Pack is our take on adding as much new content to Project Zomboid as we can while keeping the experience authentic. The focus is on cannabis and everything that comes with it, but we’re also expanding the game world in a way that still feels true to Zomboid.
You’ll be able to grow, harvest, and use weed in a bunch of different ways. Grow different strains, dry and cure your harvest, roll joints, bake edibles, and even trade or share with other survivors. The effects are more than just visual or roleplay based — they tie into gameplay too.
Outside of the cannabis system, we’re adding new items, recipes, props, and environmental details that blend into the world naturally. Everything is made to feel like it belongs in Knox County without taking away from the survival vibe.

- Tobacco+ Hotkey by Pimatstudio - This mod adds hotkey support for all smoking items to improve player mobility and reduce your time hunting around the inventory for a specific smoke. (Fully Compatible)
- True Smoking by Ratamus - This mod provides a more realistic and immersive smoking experience. Smoking is now a tracked and passively handled mechanic, stats and effects are distributed over time while smoking. (Fully Compatible )

Common Info
- The cannabs decarb process is currecntly quite primative, Simply place Ground Cannabis in an oven until it becomes Decarbed Cannabis. Be careful to not let it burn!
- If you want to create edibles our CannaButter is usable in evolved recipes!
- There is a know issue with the mod currently that causes some moodle issues and overlaps, we intent to rebuild the way smoking works in the mod so these issues will be resolved eventually.
- Growing cannabis is currently the same as growing many other plants as we are using the same system and stats. We have plans to build a new growing system with some unique mechanics in future!
- Harvesting a Cannabis plant will result in Wet Flower, these items currently need to be dried in ovens or clothing dryers before they can be used for smoking.

Originally the pack was built on B41 and that was the main pack, but since the unstable B42 release the teams focus has shifted entirley to the B42 version. B41 is now end of life and will recieve minimal support. B41 is working in multiplayer when last checked.
This was a subject that was mentioned a lot. Spawn rates are very customisable in our mod, We have implemented sandbox options to be used in a few differant ways too help customise your experiance.
Seeds have a very low spawn rate by default, this dosent mean they are impossible to find! Try searching farm stores and gardening stores. There is also a small chance of collecting some seeds when grinding cannabis.
We are always working to add more content too the mod aswell as refining and improving what is already available, While we do our best too work along a roadmap we do sometimes hit roadblocks and require time away. Because of this we dont have a concrete roadmap but we will provide a loose plan for the community too know to expect.
Multiplayer
The mod is expected to work in multiplayer (When available). But bugs might show up, especially when combined with other mods. If something breaks, we will do our best to fix it.
